INGREDIENTS

For the turmeric paste

  • 1/4 cup of organic turmeric powder (about 30 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 1/2 still water mug
  • 1 glass container

For the golden milk

  • 125 ml cow milk
  • 1 spoon coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric paste
  • 1 spoon honey

INSTRUCTIONS

For the turmeric paste

Cook all the ingredients in a saucepan over low heat, mixing until you get a thick and homogeneous paste. It will take a few minutes. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.

For the golden milk

Pour all the ingredients except the honey into a saucepan. Heat them over low heat. Stir constantly, being careful not to let the contents boil. When cooked, add a tablespoon of honey.

RECIPE NOTES

Instead of honey, you can use agave syrup or stevia.

To make golden milk for one person, you need ½ teaspoon of turmeric paste, so there will be some left over. You can keep it in a glass container in the fridge for a month.
