An accurate pedicure is important all year round, to have perfect feet in all seasons.
In summer, however, between sandals and flip flops, the feet are always in the foreground, so there is a need to take care of them more often. If we do not want to resort to the beautician’s care every time, we can create a DIY pedicure : a few simple steps will be enough to show off beautiful and healthy feet and nails. You just have to carve out a moment of relaxation for yourself. Here are all the steps to follow to make a pedicure at home and take care of your feet in an effective and low-cost way.
Tips to make a perfect pedicure!
1 – Foot bath
Prepare the classic foot bath to be done with warm water and a few drops of essential oil, or simply by adding 2 tablespoons of salt and baking soda to the water . Soak your feet and soak them for at least 10 minutes. All this serves to soften the roughest parts and nails, as well as being an excellent system for eliminating the tiredness of the day through the lower limbs.
2 – Remove the cuticles
Rub the sole of the foot with pumice stone or rasp, especially the heels and the roughest areas, to eliminate calluses.
